Purple Sage was established in November 2004. My long interest of herbs and herbal remedies directed my decision to open an herb shop. I opened the store in a house which I had my eye on since I moved to Middletown in 1987. However, one cannot live by herbs alone and my love for fine teas expanded the shop's product line. I started hosting tea tasting's once a month to introduce the community to a variety of excellent teas and I like to think that Middletown's taste for tea of all kinds. My store carries a variety of distinctive gifts in a distinctive atmosphere. We will also work with you to assemble gift baskets for any occasion.
